I found that if I ask Alexa to play a song from Amazon music on a group and then while it is playing ask Alexa to play something from MyMedia it also plays on the previously selected group.
Strange but useful.

Did anyone find this useful?

I tried and it did not work for me.
Multiroom started working again, Multiroom works quite well.
It misses a few speakers sometimes. but oh well....

It seems this workaround for multiroom music playback no longer works. Amazon seems to have changed the settings a week or so ago and now it seems it is not possible to play music from skills on preferred speaker groups any longer.

For some reason mine has started play on my "down stairs" group all of the time with no way of stopping it.

Mine only want's to play on my Lounge Left Hand echo
I got the error :- Alexa reported an error streaming the track Someone You Loved - MEDIA_ERROR_UNKNOWN. If this happens on every track, please check your computer firewall settings or review our FAQ.
Nothing is blocked on my firewall.
I ran the reinstall.. sudo apt-get install ./mymedia_1.3.133.0-1_armhf.deb , a few errors, something about compression failed.
But I could then play mymedia in stereo, but it only worked for about 3 hours.
I'm back to single speaker (echo dot) and now only some sort of demo mode, it plays 30 seconds and then next track after 30 seconds of silence.
