Indexing misses thousands of tracks

When I compare My Media index track total to that of Logitech Media Server there is a difference of at least 60,000 tracks. Can you provide any insight as to why this may be happening?

Hello Martman.
Regarding your problem of missing tracks, and I'm No expert, but went through a similar scenario myself
MMfA will only play certain formats of music, I myself converted all my music to MP3 format. this did the trick for me.
The other thing is to install the FFmpeg. what that does, I have no idea,, but it helped anyway.
The other thing that comes to mind is, The capacity of MMfA. I have 700 and something songs in my collection, yours is in the
thousands, maybe it will, maybe it won't I don't know. Anyway that's how i got round the problem. Hope that answers your question.

FFmpeg is an on-the-fly transcoder, allowing you to play more formats.
