Linux path to shared music folder on network drive

Does anyone here use Linux as the server?
I have the following setup: a network drive (WD MyBookLive) containing my music, and I'm trying to serve it up from a Linux Mint laptop. I got the network drive to appear as a desktop icon (probably because it's a Windows share), and I can click that and inspect my music. But MyMedia wants a Linux path for the watch folder, and I can't figure out how to provide that.
