Alexa Continue works only after short period, but not after longer period

Post by antonkrug »

When playing for example SomaFM skill, I can say even the next day "Alexa continue" and it will restart the playback.
But when saying that to MyMedia it only work when I say it shortly after "Alexa pause", few hours later the "Alexa continue" doesn't wokr, however if I will explicitly state the name of the song, it will star playing without issue, so don't think it's a issue of firewall. Here is my log (first it fails as continue command, second attempt works when asked explicitly):

Code: Select all

1/8/2023, 11:04:30 AM
Streaming the track Guitar by Guitar to 'Alexa Device 1'
My Media for Alexa has started streaming the track Guitar by Guitar to 'Alexa Device 1'.
The filename was: /home/fredy/Music/Relax4-5/Internal (Remastered)- Guitar.mp3

1/8/2023, 11:03:49 AM
Alexa reported an error streaming the track Guitar - MEDIA_ERROR_INTERNAL_DEVICE_ERROR. If this happens on every track, please check your computer firewall settings or review our FAQ.
Your Alexa device reported an error streaming the current track (/home/fredy/Music/Relax4-5/Internal (Remastered)- Guitar.mp3).
The error code was: MEDIA_ERROR_INTERNAL_DEVICE_ERROR
The detailed message was: Device playback error.
This runs on RaspberyPi4 which is always avaiable and always on 24/7.
