I am unable to play an Album since I changed song file names.

I go to Settings > Clear My Media Database
I then reboot my server

I then go to Albums only to see all the old Albums STILL with all the wrong filenames in them

So I go to Watch Folders and then Trigger a Rescan. When I then go to Albums STILL all the wrong filenames are there.

I even uninstall My Media, reboot my server, reinstall My Media and STILL all the wrong filesnames are there!

What does 'Clear My Media Database actually do? How do I get round this problem?

Love your software by the way, it just needs a few tweaks.

Hi,

Please could you use the 'Download Logs' button on the Support tab of the My Media web console to download a set of logs and send these to us by email (please don't post them in the forum). We can then take a look at why the Clear Database isn't working - it should do exactly what you expect which is clear down My Media's cache of the tracks it has indexed plus any watch folders so you can set it up again.
