Alexa playing music computer goes to sleep mode

Just got Alexa for Christmas, trying to get My media to work, it will work but as soon as my laptop goes to sleep mode the music on Alexa stops playing. How do i fix this? Thank you

Which Operating System (and version) are you running?
My Media does require the computer to not be asleep when you initiate playback, however, on Windows and Mac machines, My Media should stop the machine sleeping whilst it's playing a playlist. So if it's sleeping during playback, that sounds like a bug.
