Exclude tracks from Mymedia generated playlists, but still allow them to be requested.

Would it be possible (it may be already) to exclude folders from auto generated playlists, but to still be able to request those tracks to be played.
I have a number of relaxation MP3s, which I would like to listen to, but don't want appearing in the middle of a playlist.
