Ok finally had a chance to look at this.
Yes I think this is feasible. We will have a play with the API and update this thread.

Just resurrecting this thread to see if there's been any progress on the original request.
MyMedia shows about 90% of the artwork in my library that has album art in the meta file for 99.9% of songs. It would be great if MyMedia could scrobble missing art from Last.fm. Failing that, maybe add art errors to the log file so users could see exactly why the art isn't shown.
