Can I manually Rename an Album ?

Post by Musicman50 »

Sorry is this is a dumb question, but I'm a new user..LOL

*** Update.. I guess my question now that I know more, is Can I create a Folder "Name it the Album" and drop "Multiple songs in it" ?
*** Example.. Folder name is "Joe Bonamassa – Greatest Hits" then I copy and paste the songs in that folder. If you see the examples below. I found out this was a bootleg album from Russia so I guess no Metadata on it?

Here's the example.
I have music in in two separate folders, but shows up as "Greatest Hits CD 1 and 2" . Track Name is in the track but the Album Name is Missing?
I've tried renaming the folder as "Joe Bonamassa – Greatest Hits", with two sub folders, and re-scan but still only says the Album Name is "Greatest Hits CD 1" and "Greatest Hits CD 2" Should be "Joe Bonamassa – Greatest Hits"?
Any suggestions.. Thanks so much
